39 Weeks- The Parenthood Journey Begins

So this week would have been our 39th week. With twins though, you typically do not go past 38 weeks. On 38 weeks & 2 days, we went in for our scheduled c section. I will write a post about that experience later.

For now, I just wanted to check in to say the babies are officially here! Our journey to parenthood has ended and we now start our path along the journey of parenthood. A never ending trail with endless possibilities.

Welcome babies! Born September 25th at 11:35am, Amelia Ann, and at 11:36am, Liam James.

About KB, Twin Mom

T&K--this year we celebrate 8 years of marriage. It took three years of ttc (trying to conceive), but we are now the proud parents to A&L, our g/b twins. A&L turn 4 this fall! Journey to Parenthood (now known as Twin Mom Life) was started to share our story and track our (in)fertility journey as we moved towards parenthood. Now the blog is about life as a twin mom, dealing with endometriosis, my healthy living journey, and life in general.

  5. Congratz! Welcome to mommyhood, and the twins club! Being a member of the twins club is tough, times two, but soooo worth it. Advice – buy a Moby wrap and read Happiest Baby on the Block. They really helped me!

Thank you!! I picked up Happiest Baby and that’s my next to read πŸ™‚ thanks for the advice! I think I read on here somewhere that was a really good book. I don’t have a moby wrap, just an ergo and bjorn. The moby is the fabric one right? I can see that being comfy and easier for around the house.

  6. They are beautiful! I love their names — Amelia was at the top of our list before we found out we were having a boy. Congratulations! Can’t wait to hear more!
