Expense Log

This page will track how much this process costs us.
We will be taking out a loan to cover this. A donation link has been added to the sidebar for family and/or friends wishing to get us any gifts over the next few years. We’d rather the $ go towards baby Brown.  Paypal does take a portion of the money collected, so if you are family or friend and you have our address, using that is best.  Can’t give any $?  I understand 100%, so just know kindness and positive thoughts are worth just as much to us. 🙂

11/26: Consultation $25 co-pay (yeay!)
12/6:   Nurse meeting -$25 co-pay                                                                                             12/10: BCPs – $29.57
12/11:  First round of medications (hopefully we will only need this amount)-$326.03
Bloodwork:  For T, after insurance it cost $186.73.  For K, after insurance it cost $196.59.

This is outrageous that companies can charge SO much for something that after it's said doesn't even cost that much. My readers from outside the US, feel free to laugh at our health care system.

12/27: Administrative Fee -$375 –T loves this one.  So we pay you $8,000, but somehow that doesn’t cover your admin costs?  I’ll be using that 24/7 phone line with q’s for sure 😉    12/27: $25 co-pay for trial transfer (yeah, somehow not included in the whopping $8,000)                                                                                                                                            12/31: IVF cycle monitoring, retrieval, embryology, transfer -$6,500 –

Notice I never updated this page?  Yeah, because it’s too depressing lol.

I don’t think I have ever seen any one be as brave as you and actually put the cost they spent or are spending out there. : ) Thank you for sharing such an intimate part of your path!
